Dear prayer supporters,
The difference between pessimism and optimism can be seen in how people see things or interpret some situations in the life. The current situation in CAR is seen by some people in a pessimism way but there are some few people as myself who are optimism about God's intervention to help restore security and peace in the country.
Pessimists can't trust God in their prayers. Optimists see beyond the cloud of tribulation, the God of mercy, the Great Protector and Saviour. Many people have prayed and continue to pray for God to show is grace upon the CAR. I am seing God's answer to those prayer and rejoice when I see some small signs of peace in progress.
Since yesterday, the University of Bangui has opened its doors for classes. The Department of Laws is organizing the defense of its students thesis. A kindergarden "Chocolat et Tartine" near by the Mission's station has also opened its doors this morning and has welcomed the kids back to school. My daughter Andrea went to school yesterday and today and has taken some courses even there were not so many students.
Two hundreds Selekas (ex-rebels) were brought by the African military troop yesterday to a new camp in Bria (East of the country) to install them there. Bira is one of the six camps chosen to relocate the selekas and to desarm them.
Even there are some bad reports about the country, let's trust God and continue to ask him to bring peace in the country.

Dear prayer supporters,
As you are praying for peace, security in the CAR, we are seing some signs of progress in that area. We need to be optimistic while we pray our heavenly Father.
The French high school "Charles de Gaulle" in Bangui is going to open its doors and have the students back to school today.
The head of the national Army of CAR "Chef d'Etat Major" Jean Pierre Dollo Waya has visited the troops of Seleka (rebels) in their various places. He courageously asked the ex-rebels to respect the principles of the army by stoping to use guns and create fear among the population. He plan to begin the identification and registration of the ex-rebels to know where they come from, what language they speak (Sango, French, Arabor English?), what is their intellectual level, their rank, etc. This is a strategic approach to desarm the rebels.
Please pray that God will give wisdom to those who are in charge of the security and peace in the country.
Please continue to pray for entire peace and security throughout the country.

Dear prayer supporters,
Today in the CAR is a day of prayer and fasting. The authorities finally know that only God can solve the problems we are facing. We Christians we believe that Jesus is the solution of our problems. We pray that the prayers will be answered so that peace and security will come back in the country. Everything went well today in town.
Please pray for my daughter Andrea, my grand daughter Cheryl and my wife Marie Helene who are sick. My wife has diarrhea and is very weak today. The children have malaria.
Thanks for your support in prayer.

Greetings from Bangui,
We are in our 7th days staying at the Mission's compound as a family. We watch over the workers at the station. Every day at 8:30AM and 6 PM, we have a prayer time as a family and the workers. It is very good to spend time in prayer and Bible.
The missionaries team in Yaoundé, Cameroon are settled at the Wycliff Bible Society compound there. They are doing fine. We can communicate on skype, phone and internet. That's wonderful the new means of communication.
My second daughter Netopha Concile left for Yaounde, Cameroon by road. She was not safe with her husband and they have decided to have her stay there until the situation will calm down all over the country.
A presidential decree has decided that May 7 will be a fasting day for all the country to ask God for peace and security in the country.
My family is grateful for your prayer support on our behalf.

Dear prayer supporters,
We are in our third days at the Mission's compound as the Encompass missionaries are leaving the country.
Things seems quiet downtown where we are staying. We are here with five of our children. Our home is being watched by a cousin.
Pray for another meeting on the situation of CAR that will take place in Brazzaville tomorrow. The country needs support for partners to solve the problems we are facing.
Pray that the transition period of 18 months will be sustained financially by the partners of CAR in order to help bring peace and security to the country.
Only God can solve our situation here. We trust him for protection and guidance in this difficult time of our history. Please pray for spiritual revival among the Christianity in the CAR.

Dear payer supporters,
Today the 105 new appointed members of the National Counsel of Transition have confirmed Michel Djotodja as the head of the State and President of the Central African Republic during their extraodinary meeting. The mandate of the President is for 18 months. He will facilitate the organization of a democratic elections of a new President and new members of the Parliament.
Every day is a concern to the people in different neighbordhood. We heard that many people have fled from their homes because of rumors of the invasion of their homes. We really beg God for peace, security to live in our land. There are many CAR citizens who became refugees in the neighbor countries in a very difficult condition.
Another meeting with the Heads of States of the Economics Community of Central African States in Ndjamena, Chad to welcome the new President and the members of the National Counsel of the Transition.
Please pray that all the meetings in the future will help solve the problem of the Central African Republic.
My family is thankful to all of you who continue to pray.

Greetings from CAR,
We decided today with the garage that my car will stay at the garage until we have security and peace. Thanks for praying for such decision and for the willingness of the garage to keep the car.
Continue to pray for wisdom for the President and the authorities of the CAR.
Today, my wife Marie Helene and I had a lunch with the missionary team in their residence. We shared news and praise God for his protection during the difficult time we are facing.
I taught my leadership class with the teachers of the university of Bangui this afternoon (3-5 PM) under some gun shot around the University Center of Pedagogy. No one was harm and I made safely home.

Since yesterday we have a troop of seleka who settled in some blocks near our home. We don't know why they choose to stay there. Mostly they said "we are here to protect people" than they act differently.
Please continue to pray for my family and the homes around us. Pray that God will give wisdom to the authorities to bring security and peace in the country.
My family is confident to the God of Psalms 23.

Dear Friends,
This is a praise letter to inform you that I went to the garage today and my vehicle is safe there. During the looting a car was looted at the same garage but not my vehicle. The wheels and some parts were hidden by the garage workers. They will make the vehicle available tomorrow at noon. I will see if the vehicle work fine only tomorrow. Thanks for your prayer for the protection of that vehicle.
I was asked today to go and get the vehicle our of the garage tomorrow. It is not safe to bring the vehicle in my property at this time. So pray for wisdom to know what to do. May be to ask the garage to keep the vehicle there until it is safe to have it on my side.
God hear prayers. That's very encouraging.
