Greetings from Bangui,
Things are calming down slowly in the city. People are moving around but with some concern because the guns are circulating. The Government is working to have all the "Seleka" stationned is some places. Offices are opened and many have to start with zero data.
I am writing from my leadership class at the Bangui Evangelical School of Theology where I am giving the final exam of my course to the 15 students. My last class will be on the coming Thursday. I have some weeks to finish my course on Church History in Africa at the Baptist International Theological Seminary.
My family is doing well. Yesterday we went to the church and Jeff my youngest boy received this christmas gift sent by Good Samaritan. Jeff was very pleased also with the Christmas card sent to him by a family in Illinois. He is so thankful to God and to Good Samaritan. He learnt about God especial gift of His Son Jesus.
Thanks for your continuous prayer support.

URGENT!
Dear prayer supporters,
The meeting of the head of the Central Africans' countries yesterday in Chad has decided that the political transition will last only 18 months. It's was also decided that a National Transition Council will be created than a President will be elected from that NTC to lead the country as the head of the State.
We are still in the midst of gun shutting during the days and the nights. It's make us become sick. Looting continue inside the neighborhoods. My family is protected against it till now. Pray, pray and continue to pray for peace and security.

URGENT!
Dear all,
You are diligently praying for us in the CAR. Thanks to all of you. Some have prayed through the phones that is a great encouragement. Many emails have assured us of your continuous support to us. May God bless you individually.
Last night a group of rebels went to my daughter's home with a vehicle around 11 PM. They broke the door of the yard and went inside their property. At the same time, there were some shutting around that pushed them to scape. Jessie's husband is in Cameroon for a regional meeting about the destruction of elephants in the continent. Praise God nobody was harmed in the house. There is a concern in the family about the security of the people in Jessie's house. Pray for them.
We were supposing that today will be more calm. But between 9 AM to 3 PM there was three tentatives of looting near by my home. The rebels troops came to the place to stop those who are involved in the looting. Their trucks came by my house, with no regard on my property. My family is very concern today for our security and our home. But we are encouraged by the promise of God in his word. We spent time in prayer asking God to send them away from our home and neighborhood.
I am going to deliever a Bible sermon tomorrow in one of the biggest church in Bangui (Galabadja III) but was traumatized all the day by the event. Please pray that God will give me word to say from Romans 8:18-27. We need God's encouragement in this time of unrest and fear. I am confident God will do more than I expect.
Please pray more that the religious atmosphere here in CAR will not cause any problem to the country as it is in Nigeria and some other countries.
Praying for our redemption.

Greetings from home,
Thanks to all of you for your support during this difficult time. My family was out of our home that is located between the South African troops and the rebels.
After 4 days out, we are back home. Our home was protected by the Lord. We continue to ask you to pray that things will totally calm down and the peace will come back.
The electricity is back but it is difficult to get food. Food is very expensive. I don't know about my vehicle that remained at the garage downtown where there was lot of looting.

URGENT!
Rebels have overrun the capital of Bangui. The president has fled the country. Reuters is reporting widespread looting in Bangui, "The looting is bad. Both the population and Seleka are involved," said one senior U.N. official in Bangui. "We are not sure who is in charge. I don't think it is clear yet. It is too early in the game."
PLEASE PRAY FOR AUGUSTINE AND HIS FAMILY ... AS WELL AS THE NATION AND PEOPLE OF THE C.A.R.!!!

Dear prayer supporter,
Each one of us is very important in the eyes of our Lord and Saviour. What you do can be a blessing to many other.
Today I had a very good meeting with the CAR Ambassador to the UN in New York who is visiting the CAR now. Although we are from the same country and he has been a Minister of Higher Education in the past, I did not have a chance to meet him.
Now the arrangement of this meeting was made by one of my friends in the USA, Dr Gary Allen, President of Christian Mission for the United Nations Community. Dr Allen is ministering to Ambassador Armel Doubane in New York. During our meeting today, the Ambassador spoke very highly about Dr Allen because of his spiritual support in his life. Being from a catholic background, he considers Gary's help more important than his bishop. I shared about my ministry and my desire to see the political leaders of my country work with the fear of God. We ended our time by prayer and word of encouragement. He received a devotional bible book for his daily encounter with God. Praise God for the opportunity to minister to those in positions of authority.
Please pray for Mr Doubane as he serves my country at the Unites Nations.

Dear prayer supporters,
Last Friday took me and the Tresorer of CIDEL to the North West part of the CAR that is a post confict area since 2003. People there don't have a compass to lead their life. Many have been victims of the rebellion and there is a need of conflict resolution to help young people as well as old people be reconciled.
CIDEL was invited by the Justice and Peace Commission to help train political, church, organizations, youth leaders of that region to change their behaviour and learn how to do a good leadership.
We traveled 1200 km and have trained 120 leaders in two locations. The first meeting took place at Ngaoundaye a town on the border of Chad and Cameroon. I taught on Saturday morning and traveled back to Bocaranga (my home town) where I taught another group of leaders in the afternoon. It took us 3 hours to travel in those two towns (75 km).
In the light of the Bible and seeing the people, listing the testimony of the depravation of behaviours, conduct, attitude and character of people, it is true to say that we are really in the last days. The pastors who participated to the training have shown a great need of training that will help them to address issues like conflict resolution, wars, evangelization in the midst of difficult time, etc.
There is a great challenge of training church leaders who can be able to face the changes that occur in the world today and especially in Africa. Please pray that CIDEL will be able to meet those need. Pray that we can have means to address those need.
I am thankful to the Justice and Peace Commission that provided a vehicule for our trip. My vehicle is still at the garage. When we brought the vehicle to the garage it's was said that in ten days the vehicle will be available for our use. Now it going to three months. this is the reality in Africa because there is no competition in such business and the business people are not ethical in their ways of acting. Sorry we have to suffer even we have paid all the bills for the vehicle to be repaired.
Thanks for your continuous support.

Dear Prayer supporters,
Greetings from the Central African Republic. In February the new gorvenment was formed with 33 members from various entities: rebellion, opposing political parties, civil society and the political parties in power. The Prime Minister is from the opposing parties. The government is doing its best to restore peace and security throughout the country. Thanks for your prayers to help with the situation of unrest in the Central African Republic.
Last Friday, I was invited by the new Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Culture for a thanksgiving ceremony at his home. Four other Ministers and members of the Parliament were also invited. Two of the those Ministers are known to me. One has been to the pastor's books conference organized by the evangelical Mission of SIM last november. The other one is a professor at the university. This gives me an opportunity for a ministry among the government.
Today, I was welcomed by the Minister of Youth in his cabinet for a prayer time. He has asked me to consider meeting with him in a regular basis to pray for his ministry. Many of you know that for more than five years God has given me the opportunity to meet in a weekly basis with the former Prime Minister. Please pray that the opportunity I continue to have among the members of the Government will help to bring change in the lives of many.
We are working on some possibilities of seminars with the governement, organizations and churches here. I appreciate your prayer for my ministry with CIDEL.
