Greetings to all,
Praise God for the two weeks my wife Marie Helene and I spent at the
International Baptist Theological Seminary. Marie Helene was asked to
teach the ladies on biblical counseling and I taught on Christian in
an African culture. We were pleased to see how God used us to bless
the students.
Augustin is preparing a spiritual retreat with the board of CIDEL and
the team from Bible Society and another Christian organization. We
will meet on Sunday November 2, 2014 to reflect on our common
activities of training counselors for trauma management and how we can
move further in dealing with traumatized people in the Central African
Republic as a ministry.
On November 11-14, 2014, CIDEL will minister to the Pastors' national
conference in Bangui. Many Pastors from the Grace Brethren Churches
will gather for their annual conference. We plan to distribute Bibles,
Song books and booklets on trauma management to 400 Pastors. Several
Pastors have lost their Bibles and books during the war the CAR is
going through. With the blessing of the family of Grace Brethren
churches wordwide, we can buy those books to bless the servants of the
Lord in this critical time we are going through. Thanks to all who
have provided.
Right after the national conference, Augustin will travel to Senegal
to facilitate a course on Ethics to the students of a Christian
University there. It's will be a 10 days of ministry away from my
family for which I ask you to pray for their protection. This mission
is on behalf of Development Associates International (DAI) that is an
academic program that offers Masters in Leadership and Organizational
Management throughout the world.
Some of you are aware of the health situation of my son Melch who need
an evacuation to Brazzaville in Congo for his eyes. The first exams
done here have shown a possible glaucoma. We are planning a trip to
Brazzaville next week as soon as we meet the total budget for the
evacuation. God has provided 2/3 of the budget and we are very
thankful for that.
We appreciate your prayers for our family and ministry here in CAR.

Praise God for his miracle! I just came back from a mission trip to a village north of Bangui. In June this village was burned by the Selekas and later the Anti Balakas took the control of the village. One of my students at the Bible Institute is starting a church there. He invited me and my wife to go for a ministry of baptism. We went there yesterday and I preached this morning than we baptized 60 new believers including my son Melchi (photos below).
"During our stay, we were encountered with two AB who decided to turn to Jesus Christ and asked that their Amulettes could be burnt (photo). The event took place just after the church service before a huge number of people from the village. I introduced by reading Acts 19 and shared the example in Ephesus. The two guys gave their testimony, their repentance and their engagement to follow Christ. The event took place in public and has a big impact on the rest of the militia.
"I believe that the church has the potential to disarm, demobilize and reintegrate the ex-combattant with the power of God. This is the second examples of such transformation we can praise God for.
"Pray for these men and the believers of this village. We are safely back home in Bangui now."

Dear prayer supporters
Many of you know that Marie Helene and I have the opportunity to
attend the 19th Berlin International Gathering last week. During our
time in Berlin, we had the priviledge to meet with a group of
parlementary together with our German partner Humedica to present the
projects for humanitarian relief in CAR. Please pray that Humedica
will be financially supported to be able to help in CAR.
We were able to help Mrs Lea NGAIDAMA a member of the National Council
of Transition from CAR to attend the Berlin gathering. She is back to
CAR yesterday. Marie Helene and I spent three days in Kaufbueren in
the Bavaria to be acquainted with humedica. We were able to meet with
the staff and discuss about the future of our relationship in the
humanitarian setting. Another opportunity was given to us to meet the
Mayor of the city who highly spoke about the ministry of Humedica in
90 countries in the world and his encouragement for their work in CAR.
During our tour to see the castles, we extended our trip to Austria
for our first time. We did enjoy that short visit to another country.
Since yesterday we are welcome by friends in Aalen where we will meet
some families, attend bible studies groups and speak at the church on
Sunday. It's is planned that we could meet the Mayor of Aalen if
possible. On Monday July 7, we will travel to Paris where we will
spend time with Hyppolite our oldest son. During that stay, we will
attend the church in Lyon where I will preach there on Sunday July 13.
Our departure to Africa for Marie Helene and to the States for me will
be on July 15. I will attend the Charis International meeting in
Atlanta and visit some supporting churches in Washington D.C.,
Pennsylvania and South Carolina.
We appreciate your prayers on our behalf as well for our children who
are back home in Bangui. They are still staying at the Mission's
center we are managing since december 2013.
Together in Christ.

Greetings from the hot part of the world,
Could you please pray for CIDEL's meeting with the men and women
trained in trauma healing tomorrow to send them to their internship?
50 counselors will be used during this week till next week to
encourage victims of the war in CAR. They are going to use Bibles as
the means to deal with the trauma. Pray that on June 21st we will get
encouraging feedback and report that will help us to plan more
training in the near future.
Pray for Marie Helene who has malaria since last Friday and very serious today.
Pray that our visa appointment at the French Embassy tomorrow will end
by a grant of the visas for both Marie Helene and me for our trip to
Berlin on June 24.
Thanks for begin together with us.
Greetings from Where we are experiencing God's grace
In the midst of lot of activities and events, my family is doing fine. We have four children with us at home and our 11 years boy Johannes is still living with his aunt at Bouar. God is protecting us while we are still watching on his property (mission's center). Our home that is in a hot neighborhood (unsecured area) is under God's protection. We praise God for the way he is manifesting his grace toward us.
We could not send the 50 counselors to their internship in the Internally Displaced Camps because of the unrest this past week and also our budget to buy the Bibles for the people in need. God has provided $ 1021.73 for the budget and are looking for $ 2891.30. Initially the internship is planned for June 1-8. Now it will begin sometime this week. We appreciate your prayers for the success of that counseling process.
Our appointment for the Schengen visa in for June 11th. Pray that the visas will be granted to us. We will be in Europe (Germany and France) from June 25 to July 15th. We are scheduled to meet with some Christian German members of the Parliament as well as visiting the headquarters of Humedica International a humanitarian NGO with whom we have done a pilot project together in two IDPs camps here in Bangui in March-April 2014.
CIDEL is planning to organize a Governmental leadership seminars before the elections. Pray that we can have substantial funds to meet that need.

Please pray about the implementation of the 50 psycho spiritual counselors trained last week by CIDEL. They will be sent to the internally displaced people on the camps in Bangui to help them in their trauma. We plan to distribute Bibles to the people who have lost their during the crisis. Please pray that God will provide 1000 Bibles for that period of counseling on trauma starting in June 1 to 14th. This is a needed project.
Augustin
Greetings to all,
I am very happy to meet my elementary school teacher who taught me at
the second year of my school today at Air France company where I was
purchasing my tickets for the charis meeting in Atlanta in July 2014.
He was pleased to see me and learn about my ministry. I expressed to
him my recognition for the way he taught me how to read, write and
learn to become what I am today. He will be 70 years this year as I
will turn 54 sooner.
Today we begun our five days seminars on training 50 psycho spiritual
counselors who will be able to help people in trauma. 49 participants
have learnt about the human identity and how it's affect the way of
reacting to the stimuli. Tomorrow I will teach about biblical
anthropology and how sin has affected mankind and the necessity to be
saved by Jesus to renew our relationship with God and people. More
will be learnt as well as how to address issues on trauma. Our goal is
to train 150 counselors who will be encouraged to visit internally
displaced people in the camps to listen to their traumatic stories and
help them recover from it with the power of the Holy Spirit and the
knowledge of the Word of God. Please pray that the five days will be a
blessing to all of us (participants and facilitators).
My family is doing fine. We are still managing the Mission's center.
Ginger Hock and Barb Wooler who spent some weeks with us, departed
yesterday. Ginger is visiting missionaries in Yaounde, Cameroon
before heading back to the States. Next month we will host a team of
missionaries from Wycliffe who will stay at the mission for couple
months to do some training on trauma.
The security situation in the country is improving even though there are
still some concerns. The churches in Bangui are very active now. Pray for
churches in the country. Many are not safe to live in their home.
Together
Greetings from Yaounde,
After the regional charis meeting held last week, I am still in
Yaounde to get a USA visa for my visit in July. Today I applied for
the visa and will be granted tomorrow. Praise God for the opportunity
to minister yesterday in one of the GBC in Yaounde.
I appreciate your prayer for my family, my country and my stay in Cameroon.

Greetings from the unsafe part of the world
I have gained little experience in humanitarian assistance to the
Internally Displaced People in a camp with Humedica International from
Germany these two past weeks. Kits of food and non food items were
given to 500 families who were satisfied and thankful for the aid. The
catholic priest who manage the IDPs in their compound was pleased and
have asked me if he can share some of his spiritual concern with me.
Please pray that I will have an opportunity to meet him. We have one
more distribution in the same camp when we will have all the quantity
of the last item.
Yesterday, I was invited to a meeting where delegates from the
american's religions shared their concern and message of peace to the
people of CAR. The cardinal of Washington, the President of american
Islamic community, the President of the Evangelicals and a
Representative of President Obama were part of that delegation. They
brought all the religious groups, the fighting groups representatives
together to sign a an peace agreement that will allow the country to
proceed on forgiveness, reconciliation and peace.
Just after the meeting, I went to introduce my leadership course to
the university lecturers at the Pedagogical Center of the University.
About 50 teachers were part of that training. The introduction went
very well and they are eager to learn on Ethics and leadership.
Today I went to our farm that is 60 km from the town. It's has been
more than a year that I do not travel outside of Bangui to the
provinces. My wife also went with me and we were discouraged by the
destruction of our farm by the cows and people who stolen the crops.
We were shocked by the many check points on the road. Almost 10 check
points made by the Anti Balakas between Bangui and our farm. In each
check point, we were asked to give them some money for coffee. Most of
them are young people who don't have any hope for their future. I pray
that the government will have a plan for the youth to provide jobs
for them.
Thank you for your continuous prayers on our behalf.
