Greetings to all,

Last week was very busy for me with many opportunity of ministries. I was interviewed by a private radio on the qualities of a good leader and leaders in the era of crisis. The interview was broadcasted all the week and I receive many calls of good appreciation. Some people asked me if I can not consider starting a school on leadership.

The interview yesterday was done in direct on the radio and people could phone and ask their question or appreciate the talk.

I also gave my final exam to the first group of my leadership class at the university. I had the opportunity to teach about 250 students this semester on Ethics and servant leadership. This is the first time that such course is taught to the students at the University of Bangui. I got good feedback from the students who appreciate the content of the course. I communicate to their head, their hearts and their hands/feet. All is about transformation of character and life.

Yesterday evening I was invited to a thanksgiving event at the former Prime Minister's house with his pastors and deacons from his church. He gave a very good testimony of God's grace in his life during his work as the Prime Minister. He also mentioned my spiritual aid to him during the five years as a Prime Minister. He is the only one who has spent such years in the office of a Prime Minister. We praised God and thanked him for his faithfulness toward our beloved brother in Christ. He is fully back to his teaching of Mathmatics at the university. Hopefully he will be appointed to a political position in the future. Pray for Faustin Archange Touadera who has ended his position with a good testimony of a Christian being in such political position.

Today, I had the opportunity to preach at the Castors GBC, one of the biggest Grace Brethren Church in Bangui. They have two services in French and Sango. I preached on Eph. 2:6, 4:1; 6:10-18 on the cardinal position of a Christian. The message was an encouragement to consider seriously our position and identity in Christ and live a godly live that will show God's work in our lives. I am grateful to God for giving me an easy and powerful communication of his word.

My wife Marie Helene is still in Morocco. She will come back on Wednesday after having the artificial joint on her teeth. Continue to pray for my daughters Sulamite and Netopha who are sick (in Cameroon and  here in Bangui). Pray also for the new members of our Government who are taking their position and face the crisis we have for two months now (Dec. 10 - Febr. 10). The regions occupied by the rebels are still in their control and many people their are still in the bush with no food, medical treatment and facing hard time.
Thanks for your support.

After 17 days that the Prime Minister was appointed, it is today that the CAR has a new government.

It's was broadcasted this morning because many went to church, the names of 33 members of the Government. It is a unique governement with two Vice Prime Ministers (one from Seleka - the leader of the former rebels and one from the majority parties supporting the President). Only 3 women in the government.

We have prayed and God answer. Let's continue to trust him to use each member of the Government in a way that peace will come back in the country and that CAR can begin its process in the development.

Today I met with 50 students from various high schools in Bangui who are part of the Christian Youth to present the topic on leadership and the ethical behaviour of Daniel at the University of Babylon (Dan. 1). They were challenged to be prepared in a godly way to become good leaders of their families, churches and country in the near future.

Thanks for your support in prayers.

Greetings from CAR,

The medical check my wife had today in Morocco have shown that her problem is not with her ear but with her teeth. A dentist has discovered the problem that could generate if she did not present herself on time.
She will have a test and will take some medications before we know the next step.

Today is the end of the facilitation of a leadership training with an international Institution called Development Associates International. There were three cohorts of about 30 students. I did facilitate the topic on Strategic thinking (planification). Fourteen students were in my class. Some are Pastors, Administrators, Former Ministers of the Government, Inspectors of Treasure, Labor and Professors (High school and University).

It is a very interesting experience to facilitate the course using the andragogical method of teaching. The homework to be accomplished by the students are to write a declaration of mission and the analysis of  the situation of their churches or organization with the method of SWOT. They will come back after six months for the final evaluation of the course.

I am learning everyday and thank God for the opportunity.

Please pray for the political situation of my country. We don't know what is going on. We ask God favor for the best of our country. We need peace because those in the regions controlled by the rebels are without any contact with the rest of the country.

Greetings to you all,

In the midst of adversity we are ministering for God's kingdom.
Yesterday I was busy addressing Pastors and leaders of the Evangelical Alliance of churches who met to pray for peace in CAR. I preached on 1 Timothy 2:1-4 on the importance of praying for those in positions of authority. Our peace depend on that.

The second meeting I attended yesterday was at the Encompass World Partners headquarters where I was invited to participate to a reflexion on theological trends of Central African churches. We were informed about the need of such studies.

The third meeting was with four groups of students who have finished their 13 weeks of studying the book on leadership written by Dr Tim Elmore "The habitudes: images that form the habitudes and attitudes of leadership". The General Secretary of the University of Bangui was also invited to the ceremony. The report on how the groups functionned, the testimonies of how lives were changed by the principles learnt during the training and a cocktail. We were encouraged by the testimonies of the students who have noticed change in their behaviour and are eager for real transformation. One student said that his father has noticed a change in his life and asked him how that happened. He show the book they are using to his father who was pleased with the content. His father was very happy to see a change in the life of his son and asked him to help his brothers and sisters with the book.
Today I met with three other groups of students in a church to celebrate the end of their lessons on the Habitudes. All the students were encouraged to create their groups and continue until we organize the second students leadership conference where they will receive their certificate of completion.

We can do more with that new initiative of training a generation to transform a nation if there is peace. Pray that CIDEL will have a new office at the university campus to better impact the lives of students, staff, professors and many other.

Thanks for your prayer support.

Greetings from Bangui,

Just to have you pray specifically for our situation in CAR, the cease-fire that was decided in Libreville seems to not be respected by the rebels. It's was broadcasted yesterday that the rebels have taken the town of Kembe, East of the country and killed a gendarm. People in Bangassou are afraid that the rebels could attack their city.
Today the head of the rebels went to Damara to meet with his troops and report to them about the peace talks.
We are still waiting for the names of the new members of the Government of Union. Last week a new Prime Minister was appointed by the President and he is contacting various entities to chose the personalities for the Government.
We appreciate your prayers on our behalf. Continue to pray.
With gratitude.

Dear Partners,

I still have a problem with my computer and am not able to be
connected to internet as normal. The computer is not repaired yet.

We are still waiting the names of the new members of the government of
union. Be aware that the new Prime Minister is a freemason according
to a French journalist who interviewed him. He said that he is in
charge of politics not a philosophy.

Pray that we can begin the building construction of the chapel /Center
of Ethics at the university campus very soon. The former Prime
Minister will organize a time for thanksgiving in his home. I will be
part of that time of recognition to God blessing in his life.

Greetings fellow prayer supporters,

The peace talks in Libreville has set some guidelines for peace in the
CAR. One of the change is to have a new Prime Minister and new members
of the Government. The former Prime Minister to whom I minister more
than five years is no longer in his position since last Saturday. On
Friday I met with him in his cabinet together with my wife and prayed
for him. He has a good feeling and praised God for helping him in his
leadership during his mandate. He is the only PM who stayed longer in
the position. It is a political change to solve the crisis. We are
waiting the official appointment of a new Prime Minister. Please
continue to pray for the one who will be appointed and for the new
members of the governement of Union.

We are thankful to all of you who have prayed for the crisis in CAR.
We hope God will bring back peace for the good of our country.

The peace talks in Libreville on behalf of the CAR
ended today with an agreement between the rebels,
the government and the opposing political parties:
