Dear prayer worrior
I don't know what will be my family if the peace talks in Libreville will not bring peace in the country.
I am currently in our home north main entrance to the capital with my family.
A friend in Chad phone me yesterday and asked if I can leave the city with my family. At the moment, I have no mean to get my family out.
Please pray God to bring a help as soon as possible.

Greetings to all,
More than five years now, my wife Marie Helene is suffering of her left ear. She has many checking with different medical doctors here in Bangui with no great change. She still have pain in her ear, nerves, teeth, head. She may suffer of Otite that resist to all treatments she received.
We contacted a medical doctor at the Military Hospital in Morocco who is willing to see Marie Helene on February 1, 2013 for her ear. We will apply for her visa at the Consulate of Morocco this week. When the visa will be granted, she will travel to Morocco sometime before her date of appointment.
Marie Helene is a great help to me, my family and ministry. Without her, I can not do what was done till now. We have done our best to find the solution of her pain with no success. We hope God will provide for her trip and treatment there. Could you please join us in praying for that specific request? Pray that the security problem we are facing now will not prevent her to make the trip on time.
We are confident God will make everything possible.

Greetings from Bangui,
Yesterday my wife and I went to the funeral of a Pastor's wife at a church near by the international airport of Bangui. On our way to the funeral we met many troops of South African military coming from the airport. While we were there, a South African airplane left the airport. There are lot of military movement to stop the entrance of the rebels in Bangui, I guess.
After the funeral, I went to teach part of my leadership course at the University. The students are very happy that the training will transform them and make them good leaders for tomorrow. The situation is calm for the moment. Our expectation is on the peace talks that will take place next Tuesday in Libreville. Please continue to pray that the hearts will be turn to peace instead of hatred.
This morning I will go to open a small students group of leadership in one of the Baptist church. The students small group of leadership was initiated after the students leadership conference that took place at the University of Bangui in March 2012. The first small groups have already finished their 13 lessons on the Habitudes: images that form the habitude and attitude of leadership by Dr Tim Elmore.
I called the Prime Minister this morning to assure him of my prayers and those from you. He is busy preparing documents for the peace talks but will not be part of the delegation. He continue to ask for more prayers on behalf of the country.
Thanks so much for your cooperation in this time.

Dear Prayer warriors,
This morning I went to my office downtown to get some devotional books for 2013 daily reading that CIDEL is offering to Christians from different churches. The town is calm and you can see people, taxi, cars and vehicles around. Same peaceful movement in PK 5 the neighborhood where there was an incident (a man related to the rebels was killed and because of that a police officer was also killed) two days ago. The banks, the stores and offices are opened. I spent a little time with the Baptist Mid-mission's missionaries in their home to encourage them. They have decided to stay even the USA Embassy has asked all their citizens to evacuate. You may know that my current office is in the Baptist Mid-Mission's property. Both couples are fine and were encouraged by my visit. Please pray for them as we all are waiting for God's salvation. This information is a sign of God's response to your prayers on our behalf.
The spokeman of the rebels just asked his troops to stop advancing within Bangui because they are considering to participate to the peace talks in Gabon. I am confident that in this battle, the spiritual weapon that is prayer will prevail and God will show to many that He is in control even in the CAR. We are thankful to the countries in the Central African region who are fully involved in helping bring peace back to CAR.
Personally I am encouraged for what is happening at the moment toward a general agreement for peace. Pray that the Government will have wisdom to manage young people and every situation in the city. Thanks to everyone of you who are with us in this situation.
Pray for the church leaders in CAR to know how to preach for peace, unity, true love according to God's word of reconciliation. Pray that I can be used greatly this year in my ministry to those in position of authority.
Thanks

Dear friends in the Lord,
Because of the counsel of many here, I am obligated to leave my home together with my wife a little children. Three boys remain there. Please remember Armand, Barnabas and Jay as they stay in our home. I don't know how long I will be connected to internet. I have my computer with me and can try when I have enough power.
For the moment the situation is calm. The President of Benin who is leading the African Union will arrive in Bangui today to talk with the President BOZIZE about the solution to the current situation. Please pray that an agreement for peace will come as the result of this contact.
Your brother in Christ
Hibaile
More thanks for your prayer support.
(EDITOR'S NOTE: According to most recent reports, the rebels are now within 100 miles of the captial city of Bangui)

Greetings in a difficult situation,
The USA Embassy in Bangui was closed and the Ambassador and staff were evacuated according to RFI broadcasting this morning. France said that their military is here in Bangui only for the French people and the interests of France in CAR. That means there is no concern about us. In such circumstance we are wondering what to do, where to go? With a big family, I don't really know what to do. We are staying at home in the main entrance to Bangui lifting our eyes to God and waiting the salvation that comes from him.
We are encouraged by your motivation in prayer on our behalf. We need such support and God's intervention in a way above our understanding. We will keep in touch with you when it is possible.
With love in Christ

Greetings from CAR,
As the whole world is celebrating the first coming of the Lord of lords, our Saviour and Immanuel, we are living with fear and concern in the Central African Republic. The desire to take over the power by guns and force is taking place from the North East part of the country to the capital city where I am living with my family.
You already knew that I am without a vehicle since the accident in September, 2012. No decision from the insurance company to repair it. The board of CIDEL my organization has decided to bring the vehicle to a garage. The vehicle could help us to spend Christmas vacation with our children where it's safe. Unfortunately we are limited with a mean of transportation. Pray that we will have a solution soon.
This morning I had an opportunity to share the word of God to the Prime Minister this morning in his cabinet. We meditated on 2 Kings 6:8-23. I highlighted verse 15 on the question of the servant of the man of God Elisha who said "Oh, my lord, what shall we do?" This is the type of question we are asking now in CAR. The prophet Elisha put more emphasis on prayer in such a time. I encouraged the PM to trust God for wisdom to let the peace talks happen on time. He was very pleased to learn the example of God's intervention in a war opposing the king of Aram with Israel. We spent time praying together for the situation our country is facing now. He asked for more prayer.
Pray for the protection of my family during this situation of unrest. Our home is in the North main entrance downtown Bangui.
Thanks for your continuous support.

Dear prayer supporters,
A coalition of rebels troops are in movement in the North East part of the Central African Republic two weeks now.
The rebels have halted their advance and yesterday they have been a peace talks between the Presidents of Economic Communauty of Central Africa in Chad. The leader of the rebel group or groups said that they will be in their position untill they find solution to their need. The meeting yesterday has arranged a peace talks between the Government of CAR and the rebels in the Republic of Gabon. No date was scheduled yet.
While the whole world is celebrating Christmas and looking for a new year, many countries such as Egypt, Tunisia, Lybia, Syria and other more are suffering because of men's hatred of these last days as described by Apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 3. In Bangui where I am staying with my family, things are calm. We are moving around easily for the moment. Please pray that the peace talks will bring a real solution to the rebellion so that we will begin the new year in peace, security in the land God has given us. It is true what the Psalmist said in Psalm 127:1 "... unless the Lord watches over the city, the watchmen stand guard in vain."
Yesterday I was invited to preach on Christmas in a Grace Brethren Church of Ngoumboutou. I preached on Mathew 1:18-25 on what Jesus' first coming has done in marriage? Christmas has presented a good example of love between a young boy and a young girl who must live in abstinence until they get together in marriage. It also teach us a good relationship between a husband and a wife in a midst of a difficult situation. The church members were encouraged to celebrate Christmas in a respect for marriage and true love.
Thanks to all of you for staying closer to us.

Greetings to all,
I am safely back home after the last week of the Pastors' books set in Berberati South West of the Central African Republic.
We were three speakers instead of five. Missionary Harry Walker from SIM was the one who presented the Christmas gift of Christian books and Bible Online to Pastors and lay leaders from all the evangelical churches represented in CAR.
Berberati is close to 600 km from Bangui. The 200 km dusty road from Baoro to Berberati was very challenging. It's took 6 hours to get us from Bangui to Baoro and 8 hours from Baoro to Berberati. But we had a safe trip and a blessing ministry. I believe that this event of Pastors books set will produce an awaken among church leaders in the coming years.
I had the priviledge to teach on leadership and the importance of character, the pastoral ethics and to bring the church leaders to think about the impact of their ministry on families, church and the State. I am thankful to God for using me so strongly to communicate not only on the head but the heart of people and encourage them to use their hands and feet for the practical side of their learning.
I will concentrate the last weeks of the year to think, plan for my own family and also for the building construction of the chapel at the university campus. Thanks for your support of my ministry and family. I am very grateful to all of you for the success of my ministry during this year. I hope you will continue to minister in my life and ministry to impact many lives.
During this Pastors' books set conference, I was greatly encouraged by the Prime Minister. He always phoned me and asked me to pass his encouragment to the participants of the conference.

Greetings to all,
My wife and I were part of a wedding yesterday. Armel and Christel got together for life yesterday. This is our 13 involvement in weddings. Both of the couple are members of IFES. We are glad to be part of their marriage. Praise God.
Today we are travelling to Berberati for the final conference to equip Pastors with set of Christian books. I will be part of the team (Dean of Brethren Theological seminary, Dean of Bangui Evangelical School of Theology, Director of Bible Society, Professor of Baptist Theological Seminary). We will join Harry who went there yesterday. We will be there until Friday. We appreciate your continuous prayers support for our trip and ministry to the pastors of the Central African Republic at the end of this year.
